Why invest in a steel fence or gate?

Steel is made to last. It is termite-resistant, fire-proof, and when treated, will withstand Arizona’s near constant sun as well as our 60+mph gusts of wind come monsoon season. The durability and security of steel is unparalleled and this is why we choose it for our custom builds.

How long does a project take?

Projects are completed within 3-6 weeks from the time of your down payment, depending on our current workload and the scope of your project. The timeline begins after you’ve booked your consultation, the site assessment and estimate have been completed, all project details have been confirmed, and your down payment has been received.

What does a lifetime warranty entail?

We proudly stand behind our work, and execute each job with precision and thoroughness. The lifetime guarantee means we guarantee all our work for life. If you have any issues with the work we have completed, tomorrow or years down the road, please contact us and we will fix any problem that was due to an issue of workmanship, free of charge. Obviously, we cannot guarantee work that was not completed by us, or damage that was caused by an accident on the part of the home or business-owner.

What finishes are available?

You may choose ‘raw’ steel (with a clear sealant), Gold, Copper and Auburn Rust Oxidizers, Steel Finish in Midnight Black or Gunmetal Blue, or Satin Black paint. Another option is to leave the steel unsealed until it has rusted to your desired look, and then we will add a clear sealant.

Why might my estimate change?

Because steel prices are so variable and fluctuate on a day-to-day basis, that single line item on your estimate is subject to change, and will be locked in the day you pay your deposit.

What is the process?

  1. Book a Consultation for Chris & Amber to come take a look at your site, take measurements, review existing structures, and discuss which finishes and options are available for your custom project.

  2. After the site assessment, an estimate is drawn up & e-mailed to you based on the cost of:

-materials* (steel prices fluctuate daily and this part of your estimate is subject to change)
-consumables (welding wire, gas, electricity if work is done off-site)
    -labor

  3. You review the estimate and say ‘good to go’ -or- give us a call or e-mail to get your questions and concerns answered thoroughly before we begin. *Note: If it takes longer than 24 hours for you to review and pay your deposit, steel prices may have changed, and your estimate will be updated to reflect this.

  4. Pay a 1/2 deposit down (this locks your materials price in at the current rate and allows us to order all materials that day).

  5. As soon as we receive materials (usually within 48 hours) we will contact you with a timeframe to begin the fabrication and installation process that works within your schedule.

  6. We arrive at your site to begin the install, and communicate with you every step of the way.

  7. At the end of the install, we clean up and haul away remnants of your previous fence or gate (if applicable). Our goal is to leave your property looking better then it did before we came.

  8. Installation complete! Time for a photo-op with you and your new custom metal work.

  9. We will follow up to make sure everything is working to your specifications and meets /or exceeds your expectations. We value our client relationships & feel honored to have created something of lasting value at your residence or place of business. -Chris & Amber Hall
